We are the only Wood Carving Museum in Ontario, a beautiful expansive one room museum, located only minutes from downtown. Every aspect of carving, whether traditional or contemporary, historical or wildlife is represented and displayed in an intimate room full of light. The museum includes over 300 carvings in a climate controlled environment. The carvings are exhibited in large glass cabinets, allowing for close viewing. The quality of the carvings and the size of our facility make the visit very appealing for personal visits or tours. You will be able to view the museum fully in an hour or less, depending on your interest. There are artifacts, bird skins for study purposes, tools and wood samples on display. Trained staff will be able to answer any questions or demonstrate the art of wood carving.

We present new exhibits throughout the year at the museum. The area's large wood carving community provides something for everyone's interest at the museum. Over 300 carvings exhibiting a diversity of themes - wildlife, relief carvings depicting cultural, social and economic history, larger-than-life wood figures, three dimensional carvings and much more.

Guest artists from outside the county provide unique carvings for special exhibits and events.
